WATER AND SODIUM
When using water to cook, it is recommended that you purchase bottled no-sodium water. The water you use in your home contains sodium. To learn what your water contains, contact your local water agency. Most have water content figures on file. If you use ground water, you can get a local lab to test your water for all nutrients, sodium included. If you don't want to purchase bottled water for your cooking and drinking use, add in the sodium levels of your water when calculating sodium content in recipes calling for water.
