Bell Pepper & Onion Side Dish

Enjoyable side dish for any red or white meat and fish as well.
Cut the onion into ¼-inch slices and the peppers into 1- inch chunks and place in small bowl
Pour extra virgin olive oil over the vegetables and mix carefully coating each piece.
Sprinkle with 21 Seasonings Salute from Trader Joe's or no-salt seasoning or Mrs. Dash.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (.27 mg)
- 1 small sweet white onion (.28 mg)
- 1 small yellow bell pepper (1.488 mg)
- 1 small red bell pepper (2.96 mg)
- To Taste: Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute1 or Cosco's Organic No Salt Seasoning (trace)
In a nonstick fry pan over medium–high heat, add vegetables, separating them so they will brown evenly. Pour any remaining oil left in bowl into the fry pan.
Brown 2-3 minutes on each side. Be careful not to burn. Don't overcook these. We want some crispy freshness to remain.
Delicious served as a side with steak, ribs, or chicken. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for further attractiveness, but not necessary.
