8 ounces Ortega canned hot jalapeno peppers or fresh Anaheim chilis
6 ounces shredded low sodium cheddar* or shredded or thinly sliced Lo-Sodium Swiss cheese (60 mg)
Spread chips on a large lightly oiled cookie sheet.
On top of
the chips grate light layer of cheese, then sprinkle Oretega jalapeno chilis
over the cheese.
Grate the balance of cheese over this -- spreading
it evenly across all chips.
Broil in the oven until the cheese melts
(about 2 to 4 minutes). Serve hot.
